The Law of Attraction and the Lottery?

Many people wonder if the law of attraction will help them win the lottery. In theory it might, although you would have to suspend disbelief 100% and keep on with that faith even as you come up with losing ticket after losing ticket. It is possible.

WANT TO KNOW A MORE EFFECTIVE APPROACH?

Why waste all of your time wishing about the lottery. It's the money and the freedom that you REALLY want. Why not use the law of attraction to attract a specific amount of money and then you will have that freedom?

If you really want to live the good life all you have to do is to set your mind to a specific amount, lets say $ 3 million. For most people, this would give them the freedom and all of the shiny things that they want. Then start to map out possible strategies to achieve that $ 3 million. It's not nearly as hard as you might think it is. With $ 10,000 earning 10 percent per month, you would have that $ 3 million in about five years.

The more you break down what you really want, the easier it will seem inside of your mind. And your mind produces all of the "magic" that we are looking for. So you can break that down even further and find a way to get that $ 10,000. Once you have that, it is up to you to find a way to get that 10 percent per month. As anyone who has traded stocks actively can tell you, that is entirely possible with just one trade per month.

There are many other ways you can achieve that ten percent. The point I am trying to make is that we use the lottery as an "easy" way out. But the more we approach it from a different perspective, the more we will find many ways that are actually easier because they are more probable. Dream big and you WILL achieve something more substantial than just a lottery win.

You don't have to win the lottery to achieve wealth and independence. Go to http://www.successfulfather.com and sign up for the FREE newsletter and BOOKMARK the site to come back again and again.

Mental Fitness - Anger is Destructive

An angry person is reacting, usually without conscious thought and often from emotional rather than rational issues. Our concept of someone who is mentally well does not include displays of anger. Nor do we like to feel repressed anger in the personality, whether our own or our companion's. We do not sanction anger in our concept of mental fitness and well being but rather recognize it as a symptom of mental illness.

Anger is an example of emotional energy from the subconscious proving capable of erupting like a volcano and having an equal potential to harm or hurt.

That hurt begins with the physical and psychic hurt to the one who is angry - increased blood pressure, nervous and muscular tension, loss of normal function of body processes, and by contributing to a totally negative self image. In retrospect, no one reflects with joy upon their anger or is proud of their demonstrated loss of self control.

As emotional energy and repressed feelings can erupt violently, when extreme can lead to road rage, violence towards others and 'crimes of passion' including murder. People who suffer rage destroy property, inflict hurt on themselves or others, and are often inclined when provoked by circumstances, to suicide.

There is nothing positive about anger, which can cause such internal and external harm.

Anger is a character weakness that makes the angry person vulnerable. Not only does it demonstrate to others a loss of self control but often reveals a trigger spot in the ego that others may take advantage of in the future. It can be argued that there are times to express 'righteous' anger or indignation. But these words describe two different reactions.

Perhaps without feeling angry and retaining full self control, parents well know the need to exercise the skill to portray anger in the upbringing of children, but this demands of course that there it stays - as a tool or leash, not as a weapon.

Unfortunately anger is infectious. It is usual that when someone displays anger towards us, that we react and respond angrily, even though we were relaxed to begin with. It takes a great deal of will to resist such reactions and learning such control becomes an important discipline for those wishing to create mental fitness as well as physical health.

Those who are in good mental state of health enjoy being in command of themselves and generally choose to act rather than to react in this way.

How Do You Manifest Your Dreams and Desires? It's All About You!

Mastering Life's Energies: Simple Steps to a Luminous Life at Work and Play

By Maria Nemeth, PhD

Copyright 2007 Published by New World Library

With a quick initial glance, it's easy to pass over this volume as just another book and author going over the time-trodden steps to reaching your goals. A closer peek beneath the surface reveals that the material included in this book cuts into entirely new territory: clear-cut how-to information about ways to take desires from your formless ideas into this physical world of form.

The theme for Nemeth's work is luminosity. She defines it as having:

  • A sense of possibility and promise in your life
  • Knowing that all is well
  • Realizing that already you have everything you need to be successful

She delves behind this somewhat amorphous concept of luminosity with four concrete steps of Clarity, Focus, Ease and Grace with many supporting methods sprinkled throughout each chapter. Her gentle, yet provocative, nature shows early as she asks you to open up to the new realities she is going to present. At the end of the first chapter, she asks her readers to toss out their "doubts, fears, judgments, evaluations, attitudes, states of mind and points of view...[and say] yes to [your] life's adventure." She reinforces that with the mantra, "Nevertheless, I am willing."

For some, this step of simply being willing is a big step forward. Nothing happens for us unless willingness is there. It is your first key to unlocking life's energies.

The Clarity step signifies getting out of the fog, creating a game worth playing and dealing with Monkey Mind. These tools help you find out what you are aiming for and how you usually get hung up doing it. That's where Monkey Mind comes in. Borrowing the term from meditation practices, she define Monkey Mind as what happens to you when you step out of your comfort zone, It's the mental chatter that talks you out of things and leaves you to sit and wonder why your life is going nowhere. As with all her techniques and methods, expect to be challenged to step up and be your best.

How clear are you on what you want? You masterfully create what you desire when you can palpably sense your goal. The tools are here for you to make that real for you.

With Focus, Nemeth asks you for the expression of who you are and what engages you at the deepest levels. This is where the manifesting of your desires hits warp speed and takes off. She gives solid information about bringing out the "you" you've been hiding and being all you are meant to be in this life. Her tools are Life Intentions and Standards of Integrity. She also asks you to find the conclusions you lived with and shows you how to develop other ones that lead to less struggle.

Most goal achievement focuses you on what you are seeking. This is different because it asks you to focus on who are being while you are doing the seeking. This shift opens you up to creating entirely new, fabulous results.

Less struggle is the bridge to the Ease step. Here, the shifts you defined previously in the Focus step start to take shape. She leads you through mastering the six energies of money, time, physical vitality, creativity, enjoyment and relationship. Each adds important components to bringing the formless into physical creation. Then, she lays out the five stages of the game so you can glide through them.

In Grace, she emphasizes the importance of the practice of gratitude and wraps it into feeding your Life Intentions and Standards of Integrity. The work comes full circle when she reemphasizes the willing spirit you must be to manifest your ideas into physical reality.

The steps Nemeth shares are more subtle than the more traditional goal-seeking genre, yet oh so more important to the ultimate success you want to achieve. Mastery at this level is truly mastery at life. Improve your mastery by getting involved with this book!

While these are things you might sense are already present for you, I ask you: how solid and significant they are for you every day? If they are not, the remainder of this book sets out to help you make them that way.

The Secret Ancient Self-Hypnosis Techniques Revealed

Many folks want to use hypnosis to overcome stress and anxiety in their lives or find a way to delete an ugly addiction or habit - and really who can blame them? Perhaps, you might like to use hypnosis to get balance in your life or solve some of the challenges that such issues bring to your emotional psyche. If so, let me explain an ancient self-hypnosis technique that is worthy of mention and until now has been a secret.

Okay, here is the secret self-hypnosis technique that you can use to decrease the problems in your life and assist in your positive bio-feedback strategy. Now, let me take you through this step-by-step. Here is the procedure. Make sure you do it exactly as outlined:

  1. Face North
  2. Close Your Eyes
  3. Visualize a small particle going around your head vertically or horizontally (your head being the nucleus and the particles being electrons).
  4. Next take another particle while keeping track of the first one and visualize it either horizontal or vertical, which ever the first one is not.
  5. Next keeping track of the first two make another one spin diagonally, then another spinning on the other diagonal.
  6. You should have four tracks, keep focused don't lose track.
  7. Next add one particle more on each track, which makes 8 particles (oxygen atom)

*Eventually expand the rings flowing below the ground and to the sky, picture the horizontal ring a circle around your city, then state, then country, then planet. Keep track of multiple planes and particles.

It will take you a while to do this, more practice you can easily visualize and keep track. The more you do it the better you will get and eventually you will find your mind so much enjoys it, that you will do it in your sleep, meaning your self-hypnosis strategy is 100% complete.

The Simple and Easy Way to Apply the "Slight Edge" For Success

A good friend gave me a copy of "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson. It's been one of the best gifts a person could give. I've read, re-read, made notes, folded pages, laid it open, spilled coffee on it and generally used it up because this is one of the books you should read at least once a year.

It's an easy read because the concept is very simple and Jeff Olson is a good storyteller. Applying the Slight Edge means taking small actions and applying them consistently over time to create big results. Simple, positive actions repeated over time.

That's it. Drink one less soda each day. Call one more prospect each day. Exercise for just 10 minutes each day. Save $1 each day. Small, easy things that consistently done will add up to pounds lost each year, sales made, health gained, wealth made. So easy.

So why don't we do them? Because they're just as easy to not do. There's no immediate negative feedback to not doing these things today. And there's no immediate positive feedback to keep us motivated and interested.

We vow to eat healthier so that we'll live longer and not get cancer. But if you have a donut today, it won't kill you or give you cancer right now. There is no immediate negative feedback. If you skip the donut today, there's no immediate positive feedback. You won't hear your cells get healthier. If a button popped off our pants every time we ate a donut, it would be very easy to reach for carrots instead.

Since we don't get feedback either way, it's hard to encourage yourself to keep going day after day when there's no reward right now. That's why it's so easy to not do those simple positive actions - there's no corrective response. You've got to go on for a while with nothing more than a belief that it will pay off.

How do we do that in today's instant coffee, microwave, book-download world? Despite what we see on TV, success doesn't come overnight. It seems to appear from nothing, but it's built on nearly invisible, consistent actions taking place long before the big breakthrough.

The life you have is created piece-by-piece through your actions that are based on your attitude. But unless you are a saint, your attitude changes day-by-day, not always for the best. If we rely on how we feel at the moment about doing the small things we should do, our results will be inconsistent at best. Fortunately, our attitude is a result of our philosophy. And your philosophy is a principal that doesn't change.

The Slight Edge philosophy absolutely believes in the power of small, simple steps that will compound over time. Have a rock-solid, absolute conviction that time will compound your efforts, and it will become a habit to eat well, exercise, and read good books.

Pick up a copy of the Slight Edge and read just a little every day until you're done. Then go back to the beginning with a highlighter and a pen. Take notes. Write your philosophy out and carry it with you. You won't notice any improvement in your life, not the first day or the second or the third. But apply the power of compounding to simple, positive actions repeated over time. Success will sneak up on you sooner than you expected and bigger than hoped-for.

Spirituality - 3 Questions to Develop Your Personal Spiritual Relationship With Your Higher Power

Women often find themselves searching for deeper meaning in life.

We all know a woman who seems to be at complete peace with her divine relationship. She is serene, has confidence and her life works.

  • Maybe she grew up in a spiritually rich environment and has always felt guided and protected by her Higher Power.
  • Maybe she grew up without a spiritual foundation at all and has developed her Divine Relationship on her own.
  • Maybe she had to reinvent her relationship with her Creator for various reasons.

Whatever her path, a woman in an intimate relationship with her Higher Power is a beautiful being indeed.

So, what about you?

You intuitively know that you are intricately connected to something greater than yourself but if you don't have an established spiritual belief in place, where do you start?

Start here.

Ask yourself these 3 Important Questions designed to help you develop your own deeply personal and satisfying relationship with a Divine Power, however you choose to understand that Power.

#1 What is your current understanding of a Higher Power?

  • You may or may not have had any religious or spiritual instruction growing up. Some of what you did receive may no longer fit what you truly believe. Maybe you have gleaned bits and pieces from various sources and haven't taken the opportunity to put it all together. It doesn't matter really, you are who you are, and you are enough.

#2 How would you like to feel about your relationship with your Higher Power?

  • This may seem like an unusual question. By answering it you will understand what you need from your Divine Relationship. Everyone will want something different.

#3 What questions would you like to find your answers to?

  • You undoubtedly have some questions about spirituality. Gather them up and go looking for answers that feel right.

In the end, all paths lead to the same place.

There are no right or wrong answers. There are so many aspects of spirituality in the world. With a bit of insight you will find the path that feels right for you. You will know when it is a good fit. It will feel like you have "come home".

Caution: Some of us have been wounded spiritually at some point in our lives. If this applies to you, please give yourself the gift of finding a support system. This journey is supposed to feel good, you are supposed to feel connected and loved. Anything less than that is unacceptable. Ask someone for help.

The Missing Years of Jesus Resolved

Shrouded in mystery, fable and legend, nevertheless the Bible recorded the birth of Jesus Christ and follows His life up to about 12 years old.

To this day Jewish male children undergo Bar Mitzvah at the age of 13. This was not recorded by the Evangelists. Indeed, the life of Jesus is not considered again till the age of 30.

To accept that Jesus was just at home with His family is a plausible explanation, but not in keeping with the Gospels that say at the age of 12, Jesus was at the Temple, and the people marveled to hear Him.

Certainly, after His Bar Mitzvah, He would have been technically a man and no longer a boy, and would naturally continue to marvel the people. It would have been His right to speak in the Temple. There is no such record.

There is much speculation, but a lot of recorded incidents and connections. One very important one is Joseph (Saint) of Arimathea. Certain he was a rich man, and certainly he was able to speak (in Greek and /or Latin) to the Roman governor at a very sensitive moment, so he was certainly influential.

He gave his own tomb for the burial of Jesus, and paid for all the necessary burial formalities. There is no question he was close to Jesus, and as a member of the Sanhedrin, would have defended him in that assembly. There were more connections, and many very plausible.

Joseph of Arimathea was certainly wealthy, but how did he amass his wealth? Arimathea, is not a town or district at all, but a Greek compound word meaning Harima Theo (by the Grace of God).

He most likely came from Ramle or another town. He was said to be in the trade of metals; tin precisely. This would have theoretically put him in contact with England, where tin was mined and sent throughout the Roman Empire.

More speculation has Joseph related to Jesus directly. It is been written by early Church fathers that Joseph was the uncle of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Certainly the Gospel has them familiar as when Joseph was burying Jesus in his tomb, he was accompanied by Mary (the mother of Jesus), and Mary Magdalena.

Jesus Himself was familiar with Alexandria in Egypt (where He grew up) and as a major center of learning (the Library was there), Jesus would have also spoken Egyptian.

Since where there is so much smoke there must be fire, the story of the young Jesus being accompanied by Joseph, his uncle, on a journey to England is certainly possible.

The legend records the journey home, but with a diversion to Greece, and then into Asia Minor. There it is said that Jesus and Joseph departed, with Jesus joining another wealthy traveler with his son.

At the time, there were Buddhist missionaries all over Asia Minor, and indeed as far as Rome and Egypt. It is plausible Jesus had encountered one or more, and thus found His interest and way to India.

There are many records from early travelers to India having been shown or heard about Jesus time there.

The famous James Churchward in his major work Mu the Lost Continent describes such an encounter. There have been many others including Notovitch in 1888.

Aside from the fantastic speculation, many of the diversions from classic Judaism appear to be oriental in nature, and very specifically Vedic in nature.

Where the Jews were waiting for a Messiah, the Hindus have their belief in Avatars which are human incarnations of God.

So the missing years perhaps saw a journey from the Holy Land to Egypt, to England, passing central Europe into Greece, Asia Minor, and the Hindu Kush all the way to the Himalayas.

There, Jesus would have found the perfect environment to slowly become the world Avatar that He has indeed become.

There is no Hindu which does not accept Him as a divine incarnation.

Here is William Blakes poem Jerusalem which alludes to such a visit

And did those feet in ancient time

Walk upon Englands mountains green?

And was the holy Lamb of God

On Englands pleasant pastures seen?

And did the Countenance Divine

Shine forth upon our clouded hills?

And was Jerusalem builded here

Among these dark Satanic Mills?

Bring me my Bow of burning gold;

Bring me my Arrows of Desire;

Bring me my Spear; O clouds unfold!

Bring me my Chariot of Fire!

I will not cease from Mental Fight,

Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand,

Till we have built Jerusalem

In Englands green and pleasant Land.

There have been many theories on Jesus the missing years and we hope you find our view thought provoking.
